[SOLVED] : VMware Workstation and Device/Credential Guard not compatible

ERROR :

VMware Workstation and Device/Credential Guard not compatible

SOLUTION :

First check first your : System info

Start -> System info

Check your Device Guard Virtualisation based security value if it’s Running -> then let’s disable it

Then follow the steps :


Step 1 : Turn off the Hyper-V

  1. Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off
  2. Uncheck the Hyper-V (if it’s already unchecked then left it)

Step 2 : Disable the Virtualization Based Security

  1. Open the RUN -> gpedit.msc
  2. Follow the path below in the picture to disable the setting (Turn on Virtualization Based Security)

Step 3 : Turn off the hypervisor check type

  1. Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator
  2. write the command below :
bcdedit /set hypervisortype off

Step 4 : Check and Run VMware

  1. Restart your computer
  2. Check the value of Device Guard Virtualization (Not enabled)
  3. Run the VMware 007
