LAB :

  • PC : Windows 10 (Workgroup)

  • Server : Windows Server 2012 R2 (Domain Controller)

 

Tasks :

1 – Install the Honolulu in PC (Windows 10)

2 – From the PC (Windows 10) -> Add the server (our Windows Server 2012 R2) to the TrustedHost using PowerShell Commands :

  • First command to verify the TrusedHost (it’s empty) :

Get-Item WSMan:\localhost\Client\TrustedHosts

  • Second command is to add the server to TrusedHost :

Set-Item WSMan:\localhost\Client\TrustedHosts -Value “192.168.100.10,DC1.GEEK2PRO.LOCAL”

Then click “Y” to valid your choice, you can check again using the first command that your server is added successfully to your TrusedHost

3 – Verify the WMF installed on the Server (Windows Server 2012 R2)

  • Via PowerShell tape this command :

$PSVersiontable

In this case our Server is on WMF 5.0 (if not you can perform the installation bellow)13-CheckVersionof_WMF_inServer12

4 – Install the WMF 5.0

5 – Add the Server (Windows Server 2012 R2) to the Honolulu console for management
