Set a DHCP IPv4 Scope via PowerShell

Many admins are familiare with creating Scopes via GUI,
In this article I will show you how easy to create a DHCP IPv4 Scope via PowerShell

Only one commande line :

Add-DhcpServerv4Scope -Name “ScopeName” -Description “Scope’s Infos” -StartRange X.X.X.X -EndRange X.X.X.X -SubnetMask X.X.X.X

After create the Scope, check it using :

Get-DhcpServerv4Scope | ft

You can check also via the GUI

As a test you can see that the client has successfully got an IPv4 from the created Scope
